Folio 156. The examination of George Rowlandson of Rochester, Kent taken on oath by John Crompe a justice of the Peace. Rowlandson denies that he had any knowledge of disaffected people staying at Charles Crosse's house in Rochester or elsewhere; that he ever assisted such people to escape or was ever privy to such matters; that he ever drank the health of the late King James in the company of Mr Crosse, Mr Sollers or Mr Taylor.
