Description

Captured ship: All Saints or Tous Saints (master Francois Guillermie).

History: a French merchant ship (12 tons, owners Francois Bigot and Marie Le Norman of Paimpol), bound from Paimpol to St Malo, laden with hemp; taken on 4/14 November 1693, off St Malo by the privateer Three Eagles (James Lempriere commanding), and brought into Jersey

  • [CP 1-CP 4]: three examinations, letter from the prize commissioners' apologising for how they have taken the examinations;
  • [CP 5]: allegation;
  • [CP 6-CP 7]: wrapper for the 2 ship's papers and a docket.

Ship's Papers numbered SP 1-SP 2, bill of lading, receipt with rough notes.
