Captured ship: Aimable of St Malo (commander Guillaume Samson).
History: a French privateer (60 tons, 10 guns, 50 men), bound from St Malo on a cruise; taken on 18/28 July 1695, off the Scilly Isles by HMS Rochester (William Kirktoune commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
