Folio 171. Letter from 'LL' to Lord Middleton beginning 'After my duty to my King and your lordship, these are to let you know since I came for England I have discharged all my commissions, and find that our affairs go as well as we can wish, for the physick work extraordinary well, especially where Jones is. I have received the enclosed [possibly the foregoing item] from him to your lordship, with another to myself; and he assures me that there will be nothing wanting in his country, and those instruments we so much feared they wanted he tells me they are and will be furnished withal'.
