Folios 85-86. Letter from Ja [James] Vernon to Mr Blathwayt. The Lords Justices have approved the heads of the letter for the Czar [Peter the Great] as well as the draft of the letter which is now with Mr Royer to engross and will be sent to Blathwayt by the next post; Sir Martin Wescomb has written to report that he expects to hear very soon of Captain Pincarton and the other Scottish prisoners being freed, Monsieur Schonenberg having written to him to that effect - Vernon has sent Lord Seafield an account. Vernon also mentions Sir George Rooke and a Mr Osborne. Copy.
