Folios 67-68. Examination on oath of Hugh McDonald [signs Hugh McDonnell] concerning one Cary who he encountered at Ostend 'in a low condition' assisted and brought to England 'and since has had very little correspondence with him, not thinking it for his credit so to do'. McDonald mentions Lady Lanesborough, the Earl of Dorset's sister, with whom he was in service.
