Place of accident: Penrhiwfelin, near Ystrad Mynach, Glamorgan.
Injury: Bruised left leg.
Details of accident: Gardiner, when trimming coal in the bunker of a rail motor engine which was motionless, slipped and fell to the ground. He completed his day's work but has not resumed duty since.
