Place of accident: Aberfan Street, Caerphilly, Glamorgan.
Injury: Sprained left ankle.
Details of accident: Taverner, when stepping down from the footplate of hid engine (which was motionless) in order to examine the engine, trod upon a stone and sprained his ankle. He continued on duty until 21.30 and has been absent since.
