Injury: Bruised left leg.
Details of accident: Jackson, when crossing the line from one side of the railway to the other, did not lift his foot sufficiently high and stumbled over one of the running lines and fell, injuring his left leg. He continued on duty for a short while after the mishap but then went home and did not again resume duty until the 18th.
