Name: David Thomas.
Occupation: Brakesman.
Place of accident: Bargoed, Glamorgan.
Injury: Leg wrenched.
Details of accident: Thomas slipped off the end of a sleeper which was being oiled for repairs and wrenched his leg. He continued to work until the 14th but, owing to his leg having become slightly swollen, has not been on duty since.
