Name: Michael Morrisy.
Occupation: Platelayer.
Place of accident: Rhymney, Glamorgan.
Injury: Injured eye.
Details of accident: Morrisy was breaking a large stone before placing it in the stone crusher when a piece of fine stone flew up from the hammer and struck him in the eye. He completed his day's work and was also on duty the following day but did not again resume duty until May 1st and has since again failed.
