Name: Bertie Price.
Occupation: Fireman.
Place of accident: Cardiff Docks, Glamorgan.
Injury: Poisoned 3rd and 4th fingers of left hand.
Details of accident: When Price was putting coal on the fire of his engine, the handle of the shovel scraped off a piece of skin on his left hand. He completed his day's work and continued on duty on the 17th when blood poisoning set in and he has been absent from duty from that date.
