Reports on: a charter for the New East India Company; money sent to Portsmouth to pay the Streights [Straits of Gibraltar] Squadron, shortly to sail; the appointment of Sir Wm [William] St Quentin as a commissioner of customs, with Charles Godolphin, Sir Walter Young, Samuel Clarke, Benjamin Overton, Sir Henry Hobart, Sir John Auston, and Robert Henley; the embarkation for Calais [France] from Dover [Kent] of [ambassador designate] Lord Jersey and family; a planned, by the Lords Justice review of regiments at Lungan race, near Dundalk [Louth, Ireland]; and the arrival of Brigadier Fairfax's regiment from Highlake.
