Folios 193-194. A letter from J [John] Ellis to Lord Ambassador [Joseph] Williamson, dated at Whitehall [London, Middlesex], acknowledging his letters, and inquiring about his health. Mentions that the Duke of Richmond is heading to Dover [Kent] to meet his mother, the Duchess of Portland, who is arriving from France in a yacht which will transport the Earl of Jersey on the return [to take up his embassy there]. Elections have returned 392 Members of Parliament.
