Folio 90. [Robert] Yard reporting to Sir Joseph Williamson [Nine Years' War]. According to an account from Plymouth, the fleet designed for St Malo with the first fair weather. The Oporto fleet of merchantmen has arrived safely, consisting of 33 sails. The Duke of Wurttemberg [Frederick Charles of Württemberg-Winnental], with his detachment, was to surprise Mons, but the design did not succeed, and two colonels were 'snapt' by a French party.
