'Every Child Matters' was launched in 2003 as a UK government initiative to provide cross-government working with local partners to achieve better outcomes for children and young people. The website is managed by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), and the other main partners are the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC).
