Folios 363-364: Peter Rothe, Newcastle upon Tyne. An account of an attempted forced escape from HMS hired tender Eleanor by impressed men and their eventual disposal onto HMS Swift to be taken to the Nore.
Folio 365: enclosed with folios 363-364. A copy letter by Lieutenant Charles King to Peter Rothe concerning the damage cuased by the attempted forced escape from HMS Eleanor and the need for a strong military guard.
Folio 365: enclosed with folios 363-364. A copy letter dated 25 November 1793 by Lieutenant Walter Jewell, HMS Swift to Peter Rothe, regulating captain at Newcastle upon Tyne. Concerning the transfer of impressed men on board HMS Eleanor to HMS Swift.
