Description

Folios 357-358: Peter Rothe, Newcastle upon Tyne. Regarding the impressment of John Bell who has an aged mother, a young brother, sister, and a brother disabled in the coalpits to maintain.

Folios 359-361: enclosed with folios 357-358. Petition dated 12 September 1793 by Margaret Bell, Newcastle, on behalf of her son John Bell.

Folio 362: enclosed with folios 357-358. Affidavit dated 11 September 1793 by John Williams in regards to John Bell sworn before Hugh Hornby, Justice of the Peace for Newcastle upon Tyne.
