Folios 351-352: Peter Rothe, Newcastle upon Tyne. Reports agreeable to an order from Captain Jonathan Faulknor, HMS Venus, he has put on board the said ship 83 seamen that he raised with his officers to proceed to Portsmouth. Also on board HMS Venus and HMS Kingfisher, 43 seamen raised by the men of war here and his gang on the night of the general impress.
