Matters dealt with: the defence of the Channel Islands and the orders to be given to the lieutenant-governor thereof; the officers of the Earl of Monmouth's regiment to be immediately commanded to their companies; and 'ordered verbally by the King' an order to the Admiralty concerning Royal Navy ships cruising into the Channel.
