Folios 134-135. Information of Thomas James, of the parish of Stanton in the County of Gloucester, gent [gentleman], taken before Sir Roger Hill Kt [Knight] and Nicholas Salter Esqe [Esquire], justices of the peace of the county of Bucks [Buckinghamshire]. Suspecting that his eldest son, Thomas James, attorney at law in Clements Inn, had been seduced by enemies to King William. Having gone to London and examined his son, who confessed that there was indeed a plot against His Majesty and that he knew several persons who were concerned in the said confederacy.
