Folios 132-133. Dr John Wallis to the Earl of Nottingham. He has sent by the last post a deciphered letter from Messrs De Bethune and De Gravel to Mr de Croisy, and is now sending one of Mr De Bethune alone. He also reassures His Majesty that he is very ready to serve the best he can; although his eyesight is failing him, as he has lost the sight of one eye.
