Folio 106. Copy of an intercepted letter from Mr Lindsay to Mr Anderson at Andrew Young's, regarding the [religious] affairs of Ireland. There was hope that Doctor Tiletson [Tillotson] would have been chosen prolocutor but Doctor Jean was elected instead, and he is "so stiff for the Church of England that he will grant nothing". Also mentions Lord Dover [?Henry Jermyn, Baron Dover], Count Loinnie, Doctor [?Henry] Fairfax, the Duke of Hamilton [William Douglas] and the confederates.
