Folios 54a-55. The Duke of Bolton to James Vernon. Lord Shrewsbury fully acquainted him with His Majesty's approbation of the deputy-lieutenants and he hopes to be in London before the sitting of Parliament, if his side, which he hurt in a fall in the forest, will permit. Vernon would do Bolton a great kindness to assist Capt [Captain] Nicholson.
