Folio 53. Thomas Burton to James Vernon, secretary to the Earl of Shrewsbury. He would like to assure the Earl of Shrewsbury of his readiness to serve him. He also desires Vernon to represent to him the want of commissioners of the peace in the counties of Merioneth, Carnarvon, and Anglesey, to the great prejudice of His Majesty's affairs. It will be to His Majesty's service to have such commissions dispatched, to be here before he goes out of this circuit, which will not be this month.
