The memorial of Richard Woollaston, seeking help to have his son discharged from the Spanish service. The son was forced to serve following his capture during the capture of Vigo [Spain] in Colonel Chudley's regiment. Endorsement refers to a letter written to Mr [William] Stanhope [British ambassador] in Madrid.
