(1) Bail proposal for [printer] Francis Clifton, posted by: Mrs Farmer, next door to the '4 Kings' [?public house] in the Old Bailey [London], a hair merchant; Mrs Mary White, next door to the 'Crown' ale house, Chancery Lane [London], widow. Bail previously posted by Mrs Grange and Mrs Collingwood. Dated on 4 March 1721. (2) Additional bail from Margaret Vessey, who keeps a tavern in Tunbridge Wells [Kent] and the 'Cock and Rummer' tavern in King Street, Westminster [Middlesex]; and Alexander Cambell [Campbell], a journeyman printer. Dated on 6 March 1721. (3) Additional bail from John Rogers, a baker, of Chancery Lane [London]. Dated on 9 March 1721.
