A letter on behalf of his brother [William] Aldworth who 'had the misfortune' to kill [Owen] Buckingham [in a duel on 5 March 1720] requesting advice on how he might be able to advance the case for his brother's pardon following the death of Lord Stanhope. Endorsed: 'showed this to Lord Sunderland who desired it may be done'.
