A letter, written at Mr Stanhope's direction, enclosing a 'warrant for making my Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench [Sir John Pratt] to be Chancellor and under Treasurer of the Exchequer in the room of Mr [John] Aislabie', noting that past practice has been for the secretary of state to issue this warrant.
