Description

Folios 61-62. From G Burghill. To Earl of Stanhope.

A letter from the recipient's aunt concerning Captain Hanmer, who has been 32 years in the army, and who the recipient is to speak to Mr [George] Treby [Secretary at War 1718-20] about. Mentions Sir Richard Fowler.
