This series contains more than one link to the 'snapshots' of this website. For some websites, the URL may change periodically. Despite this change to the URL these websites are part of the same record series as they represent the department or organisation's presence on the web at the time. Occasionally, more than one domain URL to the same website may run in parallel creating an overlap.
For the main CEOP website, please see: HO 458
ThinkUKnow is the education programme of CEOP and is aimed at young people and encourages internet usage. The site provides latest information on the sites to visit, mobiles and new technology. There is also an area which anyone can use to report if they feel uncomfortable or worried about someone they are chatting to online. All the information is provided by a team at NCA's CEOP Command.
The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command (CEOP; formerly the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) is tasked to work both nationally and internationally to bring online child sex offenders, including those involved in the production, distribution and viewing of child abuse material, to the UK courts. CEOP was formed in April 2006 under the command of the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), and later on 7 October 2013 was absorbed into the National Crime Agency (NCA) by the Crime and Courts Act 2013.
