A brief memorandum: 'E [Earl] Godolphin will attend his Majesty before his departure [to Hanover] and get his hand to the general warts [warrants] and afterwards distribute the particular ones to the respective officer as usual'. [Dated according to Earl Godolphin's appointment as one of the Lords Justices during King George I's absence [visiting his German Electorate] in the years 1723, 1725, and 1727].
