A memorandum concerning a pardon for: 'Thomas Righterson alias Dutton, convicted of felony for stealing a horse. His Grace the Duke of Grafton is humbly begged to intercede for his life this being his first crime, and committed at the age of sixteen, at the intercession of Sir John Shelley. The abovementioned unfortunate young man is to be tried at the Sussex Assizes'.
