Part 1, Folio 123. From Andrew Pitt. To Duke of Newcastle. Place: Hampstead [Middlesex].
A letter concerning the affairs of the Penn family of Pennsylvania and Lord [Charles Calvert, 5th Baron] Baltimore [of Maryland], in which a hearing is to be held that evening at a Committee of the Council. Pitt requests the Duke to attend to support the family. [Dating note: writer may have been an individual who died in 1737]. [Note although Baltimore stayed in England for most of his life, he did travel to the Maryland Colony in 1732].
