The petition for relief from mariners Samuel Mayo and William Highier [Higher] who, by being detained ten days by the messenger Enoch Mottram to act as 'evidence for the King', lost their voyage on a ship bound for Jamaica. [Dated in conformity with SP 35/32/136 and SP 35/38/9].
