Part 2, Folios 28-29.
The petition of Francis Annersley, of the Inner Temple, executor of the Will of Sir Wm [William] Robinson, who died in October 1712. The petitioner seeks to be heard in council to plead against a bill passed in parliament in Ireland, relating to 'pretended crimes' laid to the testor. The will provides for bequests to: build and operate an alms-house on the common of Walton upon Thames, Surrey; for the charity school, St Martins in the Field [Middlesex]; the Royal Hospital [Kilmainham] Dublin, for the maintenance of old soldiers; and for a lecture hall at Oxford University [Oxfordshire]. Other executors were Luke King and Thomas Putland [senior].
