Description

Part 2, Folio 76. From Henry May. To James Craggs [the younger].

Petition, somewhat confusingly worded for his sentence of death be changed to one of transportation on account not only that his conviction rested on the evidence of Edward Ash 'a notorious offender' who was found to have committed perjury in another trial but also his age (17).
