Memorial of Lieutenant-Colonel Robt [Robert] Fergusone [Ferguson] of Colonel Anstruther's Regiment either for leave to sell his commission and retire or if this cannot be granted to be given a small government post in either Britain or Ireland which with his army pay will enable him to clear his debts. He says he has served 37 years, seen action in Flanders, and was severely wounded at Blenheim [Höchstäd, in 1704].
