Petition on behalf of James Thacker, midshipman, that while pressing seamen at Yarmouth 'he being obstructed in the execution of his office, and in his own defence, had the misfortune to kill one of the obstructers and is now under sentence of death for the murder' and praying for a pardon. 11 signatures. [Note convicted 12 May 1742 respited to 8 June 1742].
