Description

Part 2, Folio 26. To Lords Regent.

Petition of James Wimble commander of the 'Revenge' which he has fitted out as a privateer and manned mostly with landsmen who serve without wages and praying that these men may be protected so that they are not taken from him as soon as they are qualified and thereby lose their share in any prize taken.
