Memorial that on 17 August 1712 they were on Queen Anne's orders reduced to half pay but through some oversight have never been paid and have received only money on account of their present duty in the garrison of Edinburgh Castle and praying that [George] Prince of Wales grant them either a warrant for or establish them upon pay from 17 August 1712 and provide for their future support as Townshend sees fit.
