Petition to be confirmed in his rights and properties as heir to the barony of Snowden, Sir John Wynn, Mr Middleton and others refusing to pay the chief rents etcetera which have been paid to the heirs from time immemorial. He mentions his late uncle Robert Owen and also his own eldest son killed at the Battle of Val when serving as a lieutenant in Lord Crawford's Regiment.
