Petition of Richard Stanley, one of the King's chairmen, on behalf of his uncle's grandson William Stanley under sentence of death in Hertford jail. He thanks Townshend and 'Her Royal Highness' for obtaining a reprieve and asks that Mr Justice Tracey, the trial judge, be required to make his report on the case.
