Surveyed by Commander GA Frazer, Lieutenant GTC Smith, Mr R Hoskyn, Master and Mr Charles Bullock, Midshipman (1847). Includes 1 view and part of 2 views. View 1: Slievecoiltia on with the south extreme of Little Saltee, will clear the Bore (or Tuns) to the westward. View 2: Forth Mountain (Ordnance Station) on with the south end of Little Saltee will clear the Brandy Rocks to the westward or Ballyteige Castle open. View 3: Coningmore Rock on with left extreme of Big Saltee, clears Coningbeg to the eastward (part of view).
