The Love Food Hate Waste campaign aims to raise awareness of the need to reduce food waste. The campaign is led by WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) a government initiative established in 2000 to help develop markets for material resources that would otherwise have become waste. WRAP also provides advisory services to local authorities and helps influence public behaviour through national level communication programmes.
