A memorandum concerning the capture of the 'Mary', under English colours with Captain Neale, which was taken to Sally [Sallé,Morocco], with the crew and passengers being taken on to Maquiness [Meknes]. The vessel, which had a Mediterranean pass, was on a journey from Lisbon [Portugal] to St Michaels and Masagan [Mazagan, El Jadida]. Endorsed: 'Given by Mr Adams, Barbary merchant'.
