Petition on behalf of her husband, who is a prisoner in the Tower [of London] for involvement in the last [Jacobite] rebellion; and who is not covered by the Act of Grace. (1) Attorney-general's report, advising that 'the late Lord Duffus' could be released from prison but could not be 'restored in blood, nor to his estate'. Dated on 24 July 1717.
