Petition concerning a contract of marriage between the families of Sir Montague Nelthorpe, an infant, and Mrs Eliza [Elizabeth] Coxwell, daughter of Henry Coxwell of Gloucestershire. Sir Montague's guardian, Edward Nelthorpe, seeks Letters of Privy Seal to empower the transfer of estates in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire in accordance with the marriage contract. (1) Attorney-General's report in favour of the petition, mentioning Sir Montagu's younger brother Henry Nelthorp, and his uncles Edward Nelthorp and Richard Nelthorp, dated on 2 November 1716.
