Petition to be admitted as one of the poor Knights of Windsor, after serving thirty years for King William, Queen Anne and George I in the Regiment of Cavalry of General Harvey, in Irland, Flanders, Portugal and Spain. He fought in the sieges of Namur [1692 and 1695], the battles of Almansa [Almanza,1707), Saragosse [Saragossa,1710] and Brahagua [Brihuega,1710], and received many wounds, and was imprisoned.
