Petition for the reprieve from his death sentence or transportation for their son William Johnson who will otherwise die next Wednesday for stealing only forty seven shillings. He was prosecuted because of the forty pounds reward offered, and a confession forced from him. They are elderly parents and will depend upon him for support.
